MCLB ALBANY LIBRARY offers more than 26,000 titles, including bestsellers, children literature, Marines' Reading List, fiction and non-fiction literature. The library circulates cassette and CD audio books, both abridged and unabridged. Currently, The library subscribe to more than 50 popular magazines and subscribes to the Sunday edition of the New York Times. Also, there is access to the Internet and online databases through the library's public access computer workstations.

Online databases:

PROQUEST contains over 4000 current magazines and journals in all subject areas, includes military periodicals.

eLIBRARY contains hundreds of magazines and journals, as well as numerous newspapers, reference books radio and TV news transcripts, pictures, maps and audio/video clips.

HERITAGEQUEST is a genealogy research tool online. Census images can be access from 1790 to 1930. Also, search and read over 20,000 books detailing family and local histories.
